Get Rid of Belly Fat
1) Cut 100 calories a day- One cookie, soda, piece of candy. This can help you loose up to 12 lbs a year.
2) Build muscle mass- After strength training you burn weight for hours. Regular weight lifting can boost metabolism by 15%.
3) Don’t skip meals- Eat small portions every few hours. This will keep your body fueled and satiate your hunger.
4) Reduce Stress- Stresses produces hormones that cause the body to stockpile fat in the abdominal area. Yoga and meditation are great options to calm down. If you overeat when stressed make sure to have plenty of healthy snacks on hand.
5) Sleep- Lack of sleep causes the body to produce hormones that simulate weight gain. Aim for 7-8 hours per night (too much sleep can be harmful as well).
Most of all move ALL the time! Take the stairs, park far ways, do squats while cleaning! Staying focused and making small changes are key steps to getting rid of belly fat!
